NOTABLE ROLE: Elphaba in Wicked

Jackie Burns is Broadway’s longest-running Elphaba in the smash hit Broadway musical Wicked. She can soon be seen in the new film “The Magnificent Meyersons” opposite Richard Kind and Kate Mulgrew, and an upcoming episode of the new Starz series, “Ghost.” Burns toured the country as Elizabeth in the national tour of If/Then, having appeared in the original cast of the new musical on Broadway. Jackie also appeared in the original company of the Tony Award-winning revival of Hair. Off-Broadway credits include Rock of Ages (original company) and Unlock’d. Jackie has also played Elphaba on tour, earning an Irene Award nomination for her performance. Regionally, Jackie has appeared at Paper Mill, PCLO, Casa, CRT and on film in Set It Up.
